What to expect:
In private sessions, Coach Kara assumes the role as your player’s private coach. This allows Coach Kara to be able to accommodate and provide your player with 1 on 1 attention. Coach Kara will design each custom session around your player’s strengths and weaknesses in order for the player to get the most out of his/her time. The most common sessions requested include: first touch, controlling the ball out of the air, shooting technique, finishing, speed and agility and defending. Coach Kara also focuses on position specific skills, verbal and non-verbal player communication and confidence.
About Coach Kara:
Coach Kara has experience coaching players at all club levels. Coach Kara also has coached players that require special learning accommodations including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and other emotional, behavioral, and learning differences. Every session, Coach Kara brings to the field a lot of experience and even more patience. Coach Kara takes the time to get to know each player and understands that each player’s needs are unique. Just like every child learns differently, every student of the game has unique learning needs.
What if the player is recovering from an injury?
If your player is recovering from an injury and has been cleared to return to play but needs a safe and controlled environment before jumping back into team practice, Coach Kara can work in coordination with you, your player and your player’s medical team to assist in creating a return to play plan. Coach Kara will help your player ease back into conditioning, speed of play and contact one session at a time. Coach Kara will provide consistent feedback and reassurance to assist in player confidence each step of recovery.
Session Breakdown:
Each session is an hour long. You can participate in single sessions or take advantage of our special pricing for 3-, 6- or 9-sessions.
