Duluth Soccer is proud to announce our inaugural Spring 2024 Adult Pick-up Soccer program.  This program is for any adult 21 years of age and older.  Several parents that have children in our Recreational Soccer Program asked for an Adult Soccer Program and with their input we have come up with this program.  As we start off this program, the structure will be more of a Friday Night Pick-up Game.  Teams will be formed prior to the start of the game.  Here is some more information about this program.

Additional Information:

• All games will be played on a U12 Size Field and will play up to 7v7 (Goal and then 6 Field players).
• Coed Teams, must have at least 1 female on the field for the duration of the match
• Each match will consist of two (2) 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime (halves can be extended or shortened throughout the season based on weather conditions or number of players participating in the match)
• Game nights will be on Fridays starting at 6pm (at least one game per Friday night will be played, depends on number of players, weather conditions and if the teams want to play additional game/time)
• The Season will mirror the Recreational Soccer Season with the First game being on Friday March 29^th and the last game of the season being on Friday May 17^th.

The dates of the Games are as follows:

• Friday, March 29^th
• Friday, April 12^th
• Friday, April 19^th
• Friday, April 26^th
• Friday, May 3^rd
• Friday, May 10^th
• Friday, May 17th

• Rainouts – if a game night gets rained out, a “Make-up” game could be scheduled for a Sunday
• Games will be managed by the teams, however a Representative of DSA will be on-site to assist with managing game play.
• Registration fee for the entire season is $80.  Walk-ups on Game Days is welcome and the cost to play in a single event is $15.00.

Required Equipment:

Below is the recommended equipment a player should be wearing or have with them to wear during all matches:

• Cleats or Turf Shoes (tennis are ok, but since playing on a grass field, you may want something with more traction)
• Shin guards – ARE A MUST!!!!  NO SHIN GUARDS, NO PLAY!!!!!
• Water bottle – The concession stand may or may not be open during games, so make sure to bring plenty of liquid to stay hydrated!
• NO HOODIES, JEWELRY, or ZIPPERS are allowed to be worn during matches
• DSA will provide pennies for teams

Misc Rules:

• NO PROFANITY!!!  This is a family park and like the fields, we want to keep things clean and fun!!!
• NO FIGHTING!!!  Any player or players fighting before, during or after a match will be asked to leave the park immediately.  Continued arguing or fighting will result in a permanent ban from participating and loss of any registration fees paid.
• NO PUNTING!!!
• NO SLIDETACKLING!!!!
• NO OFFSIDE!!!
• Refund Policy – Due to the costs associated with making this program possible, all registration payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Teams will have unlimited Substitutions and can be made during any stoppage of play, regardless of possession.
